Anybody else totally overwhelmed by fall school schedules and sports? I sure am! Wish I could spray paint on the sidelines at soccer practice but my kids think that would be embarrassing. So I've been trying to sneak some time between carpools and lunch making to do some crafts.
The playroom is just about done. Our new playroom has one big wall for art instead of the two smaller ones in the old playroom so I had to redo some and add some more pictures.
Here it is all finished!
I already had most of the frames. I did have to buy a couple new ones but if you are patient Michael's has really great frame sales pretty frequently.
I found this plastic mirror at a garage sale for a dollar. I found it easiest to use tin foil when painting round/oval mirrors. You can just smush it around instead of precisely taping everything. I got a tiny paint underneath the foil but paint just scrapes right off the glass.
We did the method of laying it all out of the floor in front of the wall and then just hanging it up a little at a time. I always snap a picture of the floor layout before hanging because you will totally forget where stuff is supposed to go.
I painted it my favorite color-aqua!
