I’ve been working on the kids playroom and wanted some personalized art so I decided to make some silhouettes of the kids. I think they turned out way cute! The frames I already had, I just painted them to match the new room.
Silhouettes are way easy to make. I just took a picture of the kids standing sideways. I used the chalkboard as a background to make it easy to see where they end and the wall begins. Then I printed them 4×6 print size on my computer like a regular photo. I cut out their cute little profile, then used the cut out profile as a template to trace onto black cardstock. Then just mounted the black card stock onto cute scrapbook paper. I did put a little bow on Ellie’s profile because I couldn’t figure out how to make her pony tails look cute!
I think it looks great and way fun in the new playroom. Free too since I already had the paper, the frames and the cute kids.

>Oh, I am absolutely IN LOVE with the entire wall in the last picture on this post! I'm new to your blog (stumbled upon it tonight), and I wonder if you have posted info on where you purchased or how you made the bookshelf and other art on the wall. I'd love to know more (and am looking forward to looking at Ellie's Room Tour next)!
