Can you believe that we only have a few days left of 2011? I love the start of a new year! I thought I’d give a little year in review of what the most popular posts were just in case you missed a few!
#1-Tutus! I have a no sew tutu skirt and a little tutu dress that got tons of hits! A tutu would be the perfect attire for a New Year’s Eve party. One of the only nights of the year that a tiara and tutu is the perfect combo for a grown-up.
#2-Ruffly Duvet. I am still loving everything with ruffles and am happy to say that I’ve washed Ellie’s duvet a ton and it has held up really well.
#3-Teen Rustic Headboard. The vinegar-steel wool-tea combo has been one of my coolest discoveries this year. Love the aged looked. Can’t beat the $35 that the headboard cost to build!
#4-Farmhouse desk. Another great steel wool-vinegar project built using Ana-White plans!
#7-Do your Chores! If you are in need of some detailed chore how to for your kids, this is the post to find them. I am loving them because my older boys (11 and 14) are now really good chore helpers and it has cut down on the arguments a ton since they know exactly what is expected of them.
#8-Playroom Tour. Everyone loves a fun playroom. Ours gets played in every single day. Love the trofast organizers to keep the toys organized.
#9-Lego Minifig Storage. How I turned a golf ball display into a home for our Lego Minifigs!
#10-Brass lamp makeover. I see brass lamps for like $5 every time I’m at the Thrift store. Easy directions on how to redo them! Mine has been in the living room for almost a year and has held up great.
A big thanks to my top 10 referrers for 2011!!

So excited for 2012 and the possibilities a new year brings! Thanks to all my blogging friends for being so supportive and commenting on my projects. It means so much.

The tutu is adorable, and so is the little one wearing it!
Isn’t it fun to recap the year and feel accomplished at the end? I love it! Great projects, glad you highlighted some as I wasn’t following until later this year. My favorite is the playroom, such fun colors and love the READ on the wall.
